Broken and bruises

Well this week has been interesting to say the least. On Tuesday our internet stopped working suddenly and here when I don't have the internet I am totally lost. Well after countless hours on the phone with our internet provider (in French mind you), they determined that it was our Bbox (router). So we packed up Gabriella and the box and went to the store that the agent on the phone told me to go to only to find that location is closed permanently. So we hopped on the tram and rode to another store, they gave us a new box and we were on our way.

I was relieved that maybe our internet would work again. Well not only did the internet not work now, the house phone, and the tv (which are all ran through the same box) were no longer working.  Great, now I had to call the internet provider again from my cell phone and start all over again. Then the power went out, yes it was a great day! Needless to say I had to call it quits and give up for the day.

Thankfully when we woke up this morning the power was back on and oddly everything was working again. Who knows how or why it wasn't working in the first place?! but at least it's working now. LOL this place i so crazy sometimes!

We hiked the Bastille here in Grenoble a few days ago.

These pictures are from the top of the Bastille

She still had plenty of energy after the hike to play!

This is a typical evening at our house, Gabriella has to help cook dinner and watch Tangled! Yes she isn't wearing a diaper in the picture, we've just started showing interest in being potty trained so we're working on it.

Watching movies with mom and her baby

We took Gabriella and her friend Liv to see the animals at the circus that was in town.

Gabriella's favorite thing to do right now is to play in the sand. She'd play in it all day if I let her. The other night she was in the sand, digging holes and she tripped and smacked her head on the cement. She got a nasty bruise from it, but as she says it "I ok mom". She's so funny I have to kiss all day long.

  2. What a hike that was from the pxts you sent! WOW only you young ones. : ) Looks like she enjoyed the circus and the sandbox. Poor forehead! Yes, it needs lots of kisses. Good luck on the potty training! Remember good 'ole 'bon bons' for treats! Your mom says thats how she helped you potty trained. Enjoy the spring weather over there! We're pulling weeds now that all our rain (3 days) and cool weather have ended for now. Love to all.

  4. Oh poor girl, her poor head.
I am being selfish but I wish that you guys were staying in France for a few more months so somehow we could figure out to come back again and do all that fun stuff with you.
Parker really wants to skype with Trevor, so hopefully we will be able to catch you guys on Sunday when Aaron is back with the computer.
